Chapter 1: Creative Destruction: The Risky Business of Going Against the Grain
1.Why did Warby Parker succeed?
2.Define originality in your own words and write a quote about originality from the chapter (reference the page number)
3. Name and describe a fear that might be holding you back from accomplishing/doing something.
Chapter 2: Blind Eyed Inventors and One-Eyed Investors: The Art and Science of Recognizing Original Ideas
1. Why is it better to come up with many ideas instead of a few ideas?
2.Why is getting feedback on your ideas important? Who should you get feedback from?
3. Write about a person (famous or in your everyday life) that comes up with a lot of ideas.
Chapter 3: Out on a Limb: Speaking Truth to Power
1. Why did no one listen to Carmen Medina?
2. Why can it be helpful to present the negatives or downsides of an idea?
3. What is the exposure effect? Name something in your life (music, symbol, brand) that you are comfortable with because of the exposure effect.
4. How might you build respect for yourself on a team/in a class/at school/in your job?
Chapter 4: Fools Rush In: Timing, Strategic Procrastination, and the First Mover Disadvantage
1. Describe a time you procrastinated and it everything worked out
2.Describe a time you procrastinated and did not have good results.
3. Do you agree or disagree with the author ? explain why.

1. What does the “Goldilocks” theory mean? (hint: think about the story Goldilocks and the three bears)
